This Topical Issue is restricted to invited articles only.
Aims and Scope of the Topical Issue:
Sustainable development faces specific challenges, including the depletion of natural resources due to overconsumption, climate change driven by rising greenhouse gas emissions, and rapid urbanization that strains infrastructure and housing. Green building addresses these challenges by utilizing sustainable materials and energy-efficient technologies, significantly reducing consumption. It is beneficial for water and energy resource conservation and climate change mitigation. However, the latest development and practical application of green building are rarely discussed. This special issue features the Selected contributions from the 2025 3rd International Conference on Green Building (ICoGB 2025). It presents the most current trends, applications and technologies in the field of green building and offers valuable insights into the latest technologies and future directions of the related field such as environmental and energy engineering.
CFP Topics include but are not limited to the following:- Climate adaptive design and planning
- Energy storage technology application
- Renewable energy research and application
- Human factor engineering application in green building
- Green building material development
- Building carbon emission evaluation
- Urban underground space planning and low-carbon development
- Heritage preservation
Areas of interest or expertise:
